I am assistant professor at Sorbonne Universite - Lettres, Médecine, Sciences (SU) in computer science department. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Laboratory of Computational and Quantitative Biology (LBQC) and at COPPE/PEE - Engineering Graduate Program, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).
My main research area is Bioinformatic. It is an interdisciplinary field which applies algorithms and statistical methods to the interpretation, classification and understanding of biological datasets. In particular, I am interested in applying and developing new machine learning methods to address the following problems:
